Konami ESRB tease: Shadow of Destiny, Contra Rebirth photo

Two do-wanty games are probably headed our way from Konami. Both were let out of the bag by the folks at the ESRB, who had to drop a rating on them first. We're always poking around to see what's coming up, but this time the folks at Kotaku beat us to it.

First (in my mind) is the really cool/quirky PlayStation 2 title Shadow of Destiny, which has now been rated for a PSP release. Back in the day, I only managed to play through this time-traveling adventure once. Knowing that it has multiple endings and story paths, I'm more that willing to pick up a re-release on the PSP.

The other is even more of a no-brainer. It's Contra Rebirth, now making an appearance on the Wii. We already kind of knew this was coming. I'm betting it will be 1,000 Wii points, and that the only co-op you will be doing will be local. I hate when people say "dust off your Wii," but seriously: dust off your Wii.

I played through Shadow of Destiny to find all of it's endings just for the great story. I suggest others do the same...or just find all the cutscenes on Youtube.

Dust off my Wii? Hell, I'll have to find it first.

Shadow of Memories (as we know it in the UK) is an underrated game. I loved every minute of it due to all the minor details and the things you could change to save yourself. Glad it's getting a second look too.

I kinda wish that they'd make Contra games more in the style of Hard Corps. I can't stand the slow pace of other Contra games.

Contra?! I don't need to dust off my Wii. That's because I put my Wii in a air tight box, take that!

Woohoo!

I found Shadow of Destiny for PC for 5 bucks earlier this year and played through it once, and got one of the shittier endings! The story was pretty damn cool, and I like that it can be finished in a solid afternoon.
