Once Konami sees the stellar job you're doing as new head of PR, they'll probably stop bothering to announce things at all. Radio Sterling has all the scoops.
All-'n-all, I thought it was a pretty solid game. The Silent Hill elements just felt rather weak, and I really question their choice of making the protagonists be teenage stereotypes.

I must admit. I enjoyed the demo and might get the game depending on how many hours I can sink into it.
The demo is really solid. I am fairly impressed with it. The game feels really tight and responsive; it also looks to have some interesting gameplay. The game looks much better on the Vita than it does in the screen shots as well; it isn't actually a bad looking game at all (the screen shots don't do it justice). The atmosphere is spot on as well.
On the negative side, the story seems really silly; also, I am not big on the voice acting. Finally, the load times are super long, I don't know what that is about...
I wish they hadn't called it Silent Hill, the game is going to get more hate than it deserves simply because of its name. They should have called it something else and taken the monsters from Lovecraft stories; that way we could have avoided the whole "it isn't a Silent Hill game" nonsense.

I liked the demo too, and also with they would have distanced themselves from the Silent Hill name. It would have given the game a better shot to stand on its own merits. Might end up picking this one up.
I think the load times are long because it's loading the entire area, so you can play through without any interruptions. Then again, what the hell is it loading when most of the assets are the same anyway?

I played it, and I was really surprised by how much I liked it. It feels like a Silent Hill roguelike, which I would not have believed was possible.
It's not particularly scary, but it does have that lovely skin-crawl-y feeling that any good SH game should have, and the combat and structure do a good job of fostering tension in little bite-sized chunks.
Unfortunately, Konami is publishing it, and they are bizarrely inept at what is ostensibly their job. And it's on the Vita, which has the exact same problem in Sony.
So I predict that it's either a massive and entirely unexpected hit that makes the Vita popular, or it turfs out harder than surf at a plave where they only serve turf.
I would bet money on the latter. Sigh.

Maybe Konami's PR is on Pluto and their announcements have to travel across space from their 70s-era space equipment.
That demo sucked, the enemies arent scary or imposing...they're just peach colored weird things in various sizes. Having each hand mapped to a button felt worthless and the dodge roll is worse than in Heroes of Ruin.

I dunno...space on my Vita's memory card is at a frigging premium unless Sony fixes THE REAL PROBLEM and drops the damn prices of the memory cards...so I really don't know how much love I've got for a demo of a franchise that hasn't been good in almost 10 years.

I think you will be disappointed if you look for a new Silent Hill game in this one. However, if you look at it as a heavily atmospheric action RPG, that is doing some new things with the genre, you may end up liking it a lot. I keep getting drawn back to the demo; however, I don't even consider it something related to Silent Hill. So yeah, if you don't like action RPGs AT ALL, I wouldn't even bother trying it.
