I think I’m incapable of doing hands-on previews of KOEI’s action games. In Warriors Orochi 2, you run around and slash people a sh*t load of times. The end.
Warriors Orochi 2 will have over 90 characters from the Dynasty and Samurai Warriors series as well as new characters from Chinese and Japanese histories. There will a new Dream Mode containing a new storyline on top of the main Story Mode of the game.
On top of the two-player co-op mode, there is now a two-player Versus Mode. You’ll be able to build a team of three warriors and battle it out, Bloody Roar style.
Warriors Orochi 2 will be out September 23 for the Xbox 360 for $49.99 and the PS2 for $29.99.

Anyway, I really want to try this one. I didn't play the first Orochi because well, the concept of blending Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors was silly, and it STILL IS, but.. this one has Son Wu Kong in it. I want to try him out so badly. There aren't enough Journey to the West references in videogames.
Not I said "not enough," and not "any.."
Now, here's hoping they make a Warriors Orochi: Gundam! Just have Orochi summon all the Dynasty and Samurai warriors, along with the various Gundam characters. The twist being that Orochi has been able to combine the Gundam Characters with their mobile suits! That way everyone will be the same size...even though Lu Bu could still prolly take down Char in his Zaku II.
