My major unanswered question is still "will it just be a collection of ROMs?" and the answer is still "Knowing Nintendo, probably yes."
I imagine Crystal Shards will be upscaled to the Wii's resolution (oh joy!) but that's not enough to make me buy a collection of games I already own.

My God, this is a good set. And they're actually giving us games that can already be found on the Virtual Console on a physical disc? I'm all over this.

I would've killed for this had I not already bought most of these games on VC...including Kirby's Adventure twice (3DS Classics, baby!). I love all of them to death, though. Besides, any disc that has Kirby 64 AND Kirby's Adventure on it gets my thumbs up.
Ah well. Still holding out for Dream Land 2 on the 3DS. Darn those Europeans getting it a month (and counting) before us! =P

i have them all, my fav being 64, i really wish i could get that combo power ability back. rock cutter kirby was the best.

As much as I love Kirby (and I think I do a bit more then I love Mario), I do have to say this is pretty late and really for the wrong character all together.. Mario not getting this kind of love is teetering on a travesty.

@BoomingEchoes Mario got a decent birthday. Two themed console designs (Wii and DSiXL), a port of All Stars on the Wii, and plenty of name drops and Club Nintendo bonuses. Kirby has had more games than a lot of Nintendo franchises, which makes his celebration a long time coming. Also remember that Nintendo pick what goes for Mario, and HAL probably have the full say for Kirby.
This looks like a solid collection, and a far better one than Mario got. But you know what would be even better than the various spin-off games or some newly-created minigames? If Nintendo rereleased Kirby's Toy Box, a collection of eight minigames only released for the Super Famicom Satellaview.
It seems like Nintendo is loathe to ever admit they had such an interesting "online broadcast" set-up for an older system. The most they've ever done with the content released on it was to incorporate the four Fire Emblem Satellaview chapters into the DS remake of the second Fire Emblem game. How cool would it be to have these little obscure extras included in compilations?

@UltorOscariot Actually, I DON'T see why Tilt & Tumble wasn't included. This is for the Wii, right? The system with the gyroscopic control; like you would use for a game like Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz?

I have 2 copies of the Mario Collection, Xenoblade Chronicles, & Metroid Prime Trilogy. I am also pre-ordering two copies of Last Story and this. I have a feeling that they will be harder to get in the future.

No, but seriously, I have atleast half of these games and am still planning on getting it if the price is a reasonable one. The Mario one was only 20 quid so although it wasn't a great package, it wasn't like splashing 30 or 40 on it!

Pfft no dream course or Air ride or block ball or pinball land or star stacker? HEre's hoping they make a 3DS one and have all the handhelds on it. Like what theyw ere gonna do with megaman anniversary collection way back when. there was gonna be a GBA one with all the gameboy megaman games on it... sadly it was canceled. im still excited for this anyway, even if there's a lack of kirbys dream course.
