We already knew that a Kirby compilation was on the way, but we had no idea what it could possibly contain. Well, the cat is out of the bag, as we finally know what is on the disc! You ready?

Nintendo's Japanese version of the collection will have Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Adventure, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Dream Land 3, and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (Jordan, it looks like you got your wish!).

Of course when a localization announcement hits this could change, but everything seems incredibly reasonable for a stateside release so far. Also, much to my approval, there's the added announcement that the collection will have all new mini-games included in the package. Thanks for listening, Nintendo: this is what you should have done for your Mario Collection.

SDCC: Taking on Kirby's Dream Collection challenge mode

Kirby's Dream Collection is a bundle of some of the best Kirby games ever for the Wii in celebration of the 20th anniversary. Just the fact it contains Kirby's Super Star is enough for me, and the added bonus of the Kirby soundtrack CD is like icing on the cake. If that's not enough, Nintendo is throwing in a new challenge mode to give something new to longtime fans of the series.more

Have a taste of the Kirby's Dream Collection bonus CD

Bundled with the Super Mario All-Stars Wii port was a music sampler containing select tracks from the entire series -- nothing all that remarkable. Nintendo stepped its game up on Skyward Sword with a beautiful symphonic CD....more

The world's largest video game collection sells for $750k and I am extremely jealous

One of the most impressive game collections I've seen in some time was up for sale recently, and it sold for a whopping $750,250. That's over 11,000 games on systems from the Amiga to the WonderSwan. I'd list all the systems...more
