Do you remember pre-PAX Prime 2012 when Nintendo challenged their fans to break the standing world recording for number of people simultaneously blowing a chewing gum bubble? Well, they did it! For Kirby's 20th birthday, a total of 526 people gathered in one of the many Seattle Convention Center halls to challenge the previous chewing gum bubble record held by Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and were able to beat it by over 200 people. Says Nintendo's Scott Moffit:

"Between this new world record and the upcoming launch of Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition, it’s turning out to be one heck of an anniversary party.”

Well congrats you big pink guy. A world record is quite an event. All I got for my 20th birthday was some lousy car.
