This game has managed to get my attention, not only because it looks good, not only because Ken Rolston is behind it, but the name of the kingdom, AMALUR, who decided that name and why? Thats a real word, and it means mother earth on basque. I'm really curious about it.
Check out www.amalur.com its the history and lore behind the Amalur world created by R.A. Salvatore and 38Games.. its impressive. I think 38 Studios is on to something with Reckoning and Copernicus(future mmo) Lets hope they live up to their all-star standards
Every time I see a new preview of this game, I get more and more excited. I really like everything it's doing. The Destinies system in particular is looking really cool. That rogue/mage hybrid is sounding damn good.

God, this looks GREAT. The few abilities they described were famous D&D tropes, but they're most famous in WoW, and the art style its also similar. Seeing the level of detail and the vibrancy of the locations, as well as the the fluid combat and casting animations, brings this game to an entirely different level. Also, so many classes!
They really need to hype this up next year because it shows orders of magnitude more promise than any of the highly-selling Fable games. Dragon's Dogma and Amalur are going to be competing for the fantasy action-combat RPGs... and I like that we have competition!

I want this game to be good because I respect what ol' Curt is trying to do. Here's to hoping it's a great game and sells well.
Schilling as a player usually could put his money where his mouth was. That's a guy I'd bet on, annoying as he is.
