Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep official site launches photo

Square Enix has just launched the official site for its upcoming PSP title, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. In addition to the usual information and screenshots, the site also states that the game will be available in Japan before the end of 2009, which is earlier than many of us expected upon hearing it had been slated for "Winter." Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer than that for our own version.

Among the stuff on display are some teeny screenshots that give us a look at the game's various worlds and stages. These include Snow White, Cinderella and Lilo & Stitch so far. The site also has a "Message from the kingdom" link, leading to the official blog for the series, which at this point contains little more than a greeting.

This is all backed by information on the story and characters (if you can read Nihongo), and a trailer under the movies section. Something to keep an eye on if you're a fan of the series, and we'll keep you updated as newer info pours out of it.

This game is taking billions of years to be out.
The DS one looks great for a DS game but this one is gorgeous, Squeenix sure know their way around a psp devkit.

Haha! See, this is the one I'm waiting for. Looking forward to the DS one, also, but this is the one that I want to play the most, aside from 3, of course.

Some how, I'am Hoping the Story can be Original as the First Kingdom Hearts(plot twist and Differnet plots to the orgnial movies) than KH2 which seemed to follow alot to the orginal movies.

The early released trailer for this gave me high hopes that this would make up for KHII's rushed story. But I can only hope...

because KHII had so much potential coming off KHI and the constant speculation from everyone. While it worked, it worked poorly. So here's hoping.

KH2 had a rushed story? Seemed fine to me. It wasn't a good story, but I didn't expect one after the cheesy one in the previous game.

Lilo & Stitch makes any game good.

I finished Kingdom Hearts, but I didn't finished Kingdom Hearts 2...
Hey Square! How about a relaunch of both games in 720p and 60fps?
Yeah, that would be nice... and as a bonus, of course, Chains of Memories, also in 720p and 60fps. :D

Square Enix is doing some amazing looking stuff with the PSP. Why can't other developers make games that look this good on the system?

By the time Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, hopefully they'll have a massive ps3-level overhaul and sell all the previous games in one collection, which I would gladlly pay the $60 for

Nice, I'm looking forward to the PSP version for a long time now.

Great suggestion guys. Relaunch the first two and I will buy it in a heartbeat.

This is great. I hope the game will justify its rather iffy game title.
