Kingdom Hearts just keeps getting dumber and dumber. Just make a part 3 and stop all these handheld games. The first two were clearly the best.
I'm with Stevil, I'm going to start a petition right away to make sure that the ending is changed to something even longer or cutout completely and then added back in as day one DLC.
Because I'm a gamer and I'm entitled to everything I want because at the end of the day I have the mental capacity of a 9 year old.

It's going to be the "Super new Proud Pro ending" which is 3 hours of Noctis and Pete in a dribbling kiss in 3D.
I think the one reason I can even keep up with ME3's ending is because I could keep up with games like MGS2 and Kingdom Hearts.

I keep getting the feeling that by the time KH3 finally comes out, I'm going to be so out of the fucking loop since the only games I've played are 1, 2, and Chain of Memories.

Loved the first Kingdom Hearts, then they went all Square Enix on it, and convoluted it to the point that I no longer care.
I'm playing Birth By sleep right now, its pretty damn fun to play if I say so myself. I played KH1 and 2, I am a little confused about the story though. Why is this master Xenohart of such importants to the story as a whole? and that counts for Terra,Aqua and Ventus as well. Also why does Ventus look almost EXACTLY as Roxas? Shits' confusing, I just w ant to have simple lighthearted but epic adventures with Sora and the gang (goofy, donald) again. Is that so hard?
What Nomura didn't reveal is that 28 hours of the 30-hour game will actually be cutscenes. The other two hours is a combo of gameplay and QTEs.

@BoBoTheMonkey I agree. I thought the first one was the best. KH2 was sweet too, but it was much easier. They then proceeded to go with the Final Fantasy VII approach and make a ton of bullshit spin-offs and sequels instead of just making a true sequel.
Sorry Square, but I can't keep up with Kingdom Hearts anymore. Some of us don't have a PS2 and a GBA and a DS and a PSP and a 3DS and a PSV just to play this one series.

So it's long, but will it be good? last time i checked a 90 minutes bad cutscene with cool visuals and a franchise name to back it up does not make a strong sales, just ask Final Fantasy The Spirit Within

All you need to play are the 1st two and Birth by Sleep. I've played the others and unless you are the type to read through journals, bestiaries, codexes, etc in games you don't quite need the GBA/DS ones. I really don't like all of this jumping around of console though.
Also, if he actually is outright stating that fact in an almost boastful manner he sure must be confident that it is a really good ending. He's playing dangerous game there.

Here is more evidence that Japanese videogame developers are sort of losing touch. Promising me a long, uninteractive section is not the best way to get me to play your videogame.

Still can barely believe we're near the end of this console generation and there still hadn't been a PS3 KH.
I've just given up on the series after the mess that was Birth By Sleep. Even 3 has no interest in me.
Sigh.. Something that should have been in a proper console, cross platform, release of the game is going to only be on the 3DS.. Honestly not the greatest way to handle that.
I'll buy this game though, I've passed on pretty much all the handheld Kingdom Hearts because I either hear they aren't worth it, or I'm holding out for one on the consoles.. Really can't wait for them to decide to support the consoles with one any more though.

So they are going to have a super long ending just to say that the real Master Xehanort is back, something that was already spelled out by the end of Birth by Sleep

I see complaining that KH games are shit now, and they should release KH 3 on consoles. If the games are bad now, why would you want them on consoles? In my opinion Chain of Memories, and specifically the Reverse/Rebirth Riku part is the best story in the KH series. That being said I do feel like they're just dragging on the KH games at this point. I'm still getting this, but not expecting anything amazing.
Just give me my Kingdom Hearts 3 on PS3 SquarEnix, and I will be happy. I played Chain of Memories, but that card system sucked.
Game looks good and I'm sure the ending won't be MGS4 level in terms of cutscene length sooooo ... no problems here.

I could overlook the massive re-use of assets in 358/2 because of how good the engine/game was, but I can only play Agrabah so many times before my brain explodes -- considering REcoded is mostly reused areas, I'm a little burnt out.
Thankfully Birth by Sleep (and now 3D) are mixing it up with new locales. I'd buy 3D for Hunchback alone.
