Kingdom Hearts 358/2 pre-order bonuses vary by store photo

Are you looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 on the DS? I'd like to see how they flesh out the story of the series games. It's supposed to give more background on Organization XIII. The release is still about a month away, so you still have time to decide where you're going to pre-order it. I was looking around to do just that, and I noticed that a few places have different pre-order bonuses.

Amazon's pre-order page for the game lists a bonus item for customers: a limited edition art design cover sleeve. No image is shown on the page, so it's hard to know if we'll want it or not. Their price is a dollar lower than Gamestop's, though.

Speaking of, Gamestop has a couple of items for pre-order customers. You'll get a poster and four postcards (shown above) along with the game. I never got the postcard thing. What do you do with them? Send them to people? Who does that?

Square has a habit of making their DS game covers very bland and boring, so I'm thinking the Amazon deal is the better one.

I stick postcards up on my wall, I think of them as mini posters that stay up more easily

@Dale North If you pre-order KH 358/2 Days from Amazon you can apply the coupon code "KINGDOM5" during checkout to get an extra $5 off. After tax and free shipping, thats just over $31. Gamestop with tax would be somewhere around $37 (depending on where you live).

Thanks for the code; got it release day delivered for 38 bucks. Same cost as it would of been to pick it up at gamestop after work. Neither bonus is amazing, and id rather support Amazon over GameStop/EBGames anyday.

Yeah, the slipcover is kinda lame as it looks just like the box-art. It really comes down to whether or not you want a Poster and Postcards or extra $$$ in your pocket.

Argh! Pre-order offers annoy me so much! Especially as I buy most of my games pre-owned because I can't afford them full price. I'll make exceptions, however. I might be getting the Dissidia special edition and might try and pre-order KH358/2. I played the Japanese version briefly on a friend's R4. It looks REALLY good, runs REALLY well and plays REALLY well too. I'm excited.

They're both kinda simple bonuses, but then again, you're not paying any extra for them, so it makes sense. I just hate that they split these up lately. I guess I'll go with Amazon's and grab the postcards off eBay later if I really want them.
