A DS title with Square Enix's name on it? Nice. A title that is not related to The World Ends With You and is just another contrived addition to a series which takes itself far too seriously, which grows more ridiculous with each entry and has recently suffered from overload of androgynous males? My first experience of Kingdom Hearts was watching a friend fight the final boss of the first game. Everyone else in the room started up a tally of how many times he said "darkness," which was at least once per sentence. And the guy loved to talk.

I have no idea why the fact that KH has sold millions of copies has anything to do with the fact that the header image looks like it should be backed by the classic Electric Six song "Gay Bar."

I don't get where jokes automatically equal hatred. Unless you hate gay people. Do you hate gay people? Why do you hate gay people?

Laugh about the homosexual tendencies of the protagonists all you want, but the game looks fantastic. Square really know how to squeeze every bit of juice from a system.

The Kingdom Hearts series has been shit from day one, I don't see why people love the games so much. Sure, I can understand the nostalgia of seeing all of your favorite Square and Disney characters, even I liked that about the game. But I was wise enough not to allow that to blind me to how utter boring the actual games were.

The combat was boring and repetitive beyond enjoyment. The story wasn't nearly enthralling enough to make up for the gameplay. Oh, and the Gummi Ship levels, the fucking Gummi Ship levels! God, that was so fucking horrible and just ruined the pace of the games. The second one improved them somewhat, but they still sucked. The only cool part was building the ship, but I still dreaded playing those lousy levels.

Kingdom Hearts just sucked from day one, and I never got the love that this series has been given.

Jim, you are absolutely right, the characters in Kingdom Hearts look like they belong in a San Francisco night club, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Flaws in your argument:

1) It wasn't "everybody."

2) The only people who commented on the joke, which wasn't even really a joke, got all butthurt and defended Kingdom Hearts.

3) The people who said KH sucked did not do it because they saw a header image. I am not capable of controlling people's minds with simple images.

Anybody know how many fags Snake smoked throughout the course of MGS4? How about just in one of the movie-length cut-scenes. How many DRAMATIC PAUSES was he able to pull of because he had a fag in his mouth?
Or maybe the gamer is gay? Staring at Snake's abnormally tight ass for how many hours?

We have already established that Square makes woman-man men, don't be so sensitive, no one is hating on your precious Kingdom Hearts....except those guys that said "Kingdom Hearts sucks!"
