Just picked this game up last week after playing the demo. It's SO GOOD! I remember a couple reviews I read saying the combo timing was very strict, but I find chaining moves together to be much easier than most current fighting games. If anyone was burned by XII, be sure to at least try the demo for XIII. Almost everything has been improved.

I love Atlus. They never play dirty pool. If they mess up they apologize and treat their fans akin to royalty. I'm so glad they handled KOF's localization this time! SNK Play-more was wise to make that alliance!
Best fighting game I've played in a long, long time. Kinda wish I waited to get it when the price dropped, but it was worth it!

I really like KOF, it was my excuse to still care for the fighting genre, that's why I am so pissed at SNK for packing in the same horrible netcode XII had with just a few tweaks...
To anyone considering picking this up that cares about online matches, try the demo first, and see how online works for you, cause it's still one of the worst online fighting games I have ever played (BB, SF4 and MK were considerably better)

Snagged it last week for $39.99 on Amazon it's definitely worth it for that price! It's also 2000x better than the unfinished demo disaster that was KOF XII so have no worries there! Mine also came with the 4 CD Soundtrack... so Amazon might still have stock left. Worth a shot.
