Kinect Sports adds boxing, wild and crazy 'Party Play'

9:00 PM on 09.09.2010

While everyone was shouting about Duke Nukem Forever at PAX, Rare and Microsoft quietly announced two new modes for the upcoming Kinect Sports -- boxing and "Party Play."

Boxing is, well… it's boxing. You'll work up a sweat swinging your arms like a mad man, making on-screen Avatars pummel other ugly Avatar faces in the process. "Party Play" is… some kind of tournament-style multiplayer mode that will let your characters dress up like aliens and carrots and stuff. I don't know, it's kind of trippy, and I'm not sure how I feel after having seen it.

Kinect Sports
is out this fall, alongside Kinect's November 4 release.

Review: Rusty's Real Deal Baseball

During the first hour of Rusty's Real Deal Baseball I babysat one of the titular character's 10 kids, played a 4DS, and fed him donuts while I listened to his marital problems. I'm glad Nintendo decided to make this game.more

Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is coming soon on 3DS

Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, one of the most absurd games I've seen from Nintendo in years, is coming to the 3DS on April 3rd. This is Nintendo's second free-to-play endeavor on the 3DS after Steel Diver: Sub Wars, and feature...more
