According to the official Killzone Twitter, the Sony Entertainment Network re-release of Killzone has been indefinitely delayed after missing its January 24 release date.
"With regards to KZ1 for PS3, not sure what happened but I’ve been informed that it’s been delayed indefinitely," stated the feed, which also claimed rumors of a new Killzone game being developed for this summer were "false."
Well, that sucks. I was looking forward to replaying the game and hearing Sean Pertwee's delightfully abrasive voice once again. Now I'll just have to watch Event Horizon again ... which is a pretty good consolation!

Also, Event Horizon was a good PWS Anderson film. Moral Kombat is cheesy in all the right ways. The first Resident Evil was fine as a self sufficient story, and an okay film adaptation. Everything else that man has done is garbage.
Or maybe they're doing both.
It's only VG247 who don't know the difference, it's a port.
And the first Resident Evil is not fine on its own, you don't take 40 minutes for the main characters to meet the first zombie in your zombie movie. That's not building tension, that's channelling Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
Oh well. I heard Primal is supposed to be released on the Playstation Network as well. Wouldn't be surprised if that's "delayed indefinitely" too.
So long as there's still a Vita Killzone in the pipeline i'm good.

I read it like that an almost fucking died. I still have Killzone for PS2 so this bothers me none but HD would have been sexy.
I'd buy that for 20.

I'm really hating to say it, but people (not you, but the industry at large, I guess) really need to start being clear on whats a remake and whats a port.. Cause this confusion some people seem to have over it is just plain bad.
Any way, I don't think anyone really said or should have thought that this wasn't anything more then a port.
You're absolutely right, though. I wish HD slap jobs weren't referred to by anything more than a port, since they're not making, let alone remaking anything; it's just a copy-paste job with new texture files and some tweaks.
