Well most people can this content for free from everywhere just by preordering it, not really a big deal. And how much really would they charge for this, sounds like something that would be 2 bucks which aint nothing.

i dont like the idea of selling "remakes" of older maps from older games, just spend the time making new ones. if i wanted to play the old ones i can go back and play the old game.

unfortunately, you forgot to delete/edit this part "Still, one can't help but feel that day-one DLC is always a bit cheeky, especially if you've just spent $59.99" which would contradict what you just said because usually people who buy games day one have preordered it. So how is it cheeky? They give everyone a chance to play both the multiplayer and single player before it releases (which is plenty of playing time to decide whether to preorder it or not).Then if you preorder it you get a free map pack. Also, more proof that you edited this, go look at the comments up to mine (why is everyone pissed that they get a free dlc map pack?)
Trade in BLOPS for this...? All of my friends play BLOPS, but I really like KZ2 and love the art direction of the series.

Salamun Market was probably the best map in KillZone 2's multiplayer mode. It did not have many meat grinder objective points and really felt like it had established zones of friendly territory, contested and enemy lines. I would have preferred Helghan Industries or Visari Hammer over Blood Gracht but at least it is not that awful Radec Academy map.

Good points... but then again, Radec Academy sometimes de-evolved into an overhwhelming frag fest... which COULD be good at times...
