Kz2 had one of the best matchmaking systems I've played in a fps.

oh look jet paks and Sony fanboys were making fun of Halo reach for using jetpacks and saying it was unoriginal and it has been don before, but when applied to Killzone its ok..anyway should be interesting to see though, i dont have a PS3 but killzone 2 is one of the games that makes me want a PS3.
Now just give me a single player game that remains interesting for the duration of the campaign. I was severely disappointed in KZ2's narrative, I hope they do better this time around. But with kids these days I'm sure KZ3 will become all about the multiplayer/co-op and kill the single player experience.
Now I just need an official announcement for Resistance 3 and infamous 2 and I will be complete. Lol

Killzone 2 was a really solid game and I enjoyed playing it, but thinking back there's almost nothing that I distinctly remember about it. The game had a severe case of being generic.
I hope they make the multiplayer an object oriented affair, and not a frag fest. (Like, a person who kills 3 times with a headshot but dies 10 times to make his team lose the deathmatch round, earns 9 points, more points that someone who detonates a bomb, or assasinates a target)
KZ1 = Awful
KZ2 = Good (but not great)
KZ3 = As long as the improvement continues it might actually be worth getting.
Still not a day one purchase for me. I'll admit I bought into the hype and got KZ2 day one...won't be making that mistake again.

Comparing jetpack integration in this gen is exactly that, THIS gen. No one cares if a last or prior gen game had jetpacks; whoever makes it first this gen is clearly the winner.

Where's sexual chocalate. Homoerotic marines with jet packs. LOL Hope they show actuall gameplay at E3 and not more videos. This is Sony so I expect to see a butt load of FMV.

Oh hey, there was this this called star wars battlefront which had shock troopers in it that wore jet packs and brandished shotgun blasters, but jetpacks have been cool since forever so shut up already.

@NY yeah that would definitely be nice. Killzone 2 looked really awesome. I'm curious to see how much better they can make it look. I hope the 3D effect doesn't make me feel sick.

that is exactly my point, if jetpacks aren't in a killzone game then its automatic copy and or fail? I mean its cool they are putting them bac in but i jsut find it amusing that so many people were making fun of Halo for putting jetpacks in reach and or saying its unoriginal when Jetpacks have been a big part of gaming for a while not in every game but they have been in there in some form. Hell jet packs have been part of American culture/hollywood movies and such. For example Jingle all the way Arnold going "ayayasyayayayaaa" while flying is hilarious and awesome and makes my gina go SQUEEEEE

@hestar - dude, if you wanna play on the same team consequtively, you gotta create a squad. It assumes if you don't, considering how easy it is, that you don't care.
Also I loved the fresh variety of multiplayer games and the smooth flux between modes without having to go back to the lobby every 5-10 minutes like most fps.
