Killzone 2's 'Steel and Titanium' map pack hits April 30 photo

Guerrilla has just announced, via the PlayStation Blog, that Killzone 2's DLC debut will be available to download on April 30. "Steel and Titanium" adds two new maps to the game's multiplayer mode -- the treacherous Wasteland Bullet and the vertical Vekta Cruiser.

The developer states that pricing for this DLC is to be announced, which means that the rumors of free DLC may not be true. We'll have to wait and see on that count. The maps look great and I'll definitely be picking them up, but not having to pay makes such things even better.

I'm still dipping onto KZ2 when I get a moment and these new maps will get some play from me. What about you filthy lot? How many of you will be giving the new maps a test drive?

It depends on how much the map pack is, but assuming it hits a price point of around $5 I will definitely pick it up. If it's $10 I will have to seriously think about it.

2.5 dollars per map?! That's too expensive. But the train map is pretty sweet.

Unless they're an ungodly price, which I doubt they will be, I plan on getting these.
...As for Saturday's clan match, man was I ever terrible. I didn't play any rounds beforehand and had just been playing Halo 3, so at one point I even chucked a grenade at my feet when I went to reload...

This is the way I look at it, The COD 4 map pack consisted of 4 maps and cost 9.99. I think that was a very reasonable price. So I would no doubt spend 5 bucks on this map pack, I think that's also reasonable. If it is 10 for only 2 maps I probably will have to think about it. But free is always good, by the way has anyone downloaded the Resistance 2 map pack. Is it worth it? I don't play too much competitive mostly co-op.
