Killzone 2 content coming to Home, tempting me to care photo

PlayStation Home has finally become somewhat relevant to me, with Guerrilla announcing that Killzone 2 content is coming to the service. Something tells me it still won't be enough to make me fire up the poor man's Second Life, despite my Killzone 2 fanboy status.

Home fans will be able to acquire the throne room of Helghast dictator Scolar Visari, complete with all sorts of Helghan furniture. It'll be coming to the European Home in June, with pricing details to come. It's also scheduled for North America, but so far there is no news on when it'll come.

I will not buy this stuff.

Do the Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Killzone costumes in Home actually cost money then, or are they special promotional items you're given for free?

At the moment it sounds like LittleBigPlanet but less adorable, therefore not worth buying. I wouldn't mind a free Helghan costume though, just to download and mildly amuse myself staring at for a few minutes though.

There is a Home Helghast costume, but I think it was only available through a promotion and you cannot buy it.

Home taught me how to be a better Warhawk player. And that's about it.

The PS3 is perfect, so in the end, it's worth it.

Qraze's comment reminds me of the first Home showing, where you could import a video into your virtual TV, throw it down the stairs, and watch it keep playing. That looked pretty cool back then.

I'm surprised not even stairs made it into the released copy! I guess throwing virtual TV's will continue to be but a dream for users of the service...

Lol Qraze :]

It's odd you should post about this as I was reading the Wiki article on Killzone 2 earlier for college research and I read this then t popped up here :]

It's cool, but I still want the features Qraze said :P

Hate all you want on Home. I walk around in there regular and i can tell you there are always people around and money being spent. I see it as Sonys way of keeping the PSN free.

I really WANT to have a reason to go into Home. I mean, I log in every month or two to see what's new and visit the new spaces but there's NOTHING to do in them! And the rare ones that DO have something to do have frickin' LINES in order to play crappy little games!

And I tried for a frickin' hour to get into that Siren world where I could unlock Siren costumes but only 8 people at a time could go in and there were about 100 waiting in that damn little cramped room.

Would people still be playing WoW if you had to WAIT IN LINE to do quests? And to finish quests? Hell no! It's stupid and it should be done away with.

Deleted Home a long time ago. Until Home has something worthwhile and something that isn't a gimmick (like the Red Bull mini-game, which wasn't that good) then maybe I'll re-download it and start using it. Sony disappointed big time with this. It's not a total disaster though, the fanboys are helping Sony create that money pool by buying nice clothes for their avatar.

Having not played Killzone yet, my first thought was: "is that the weird chapel from DN3D?" >_>

I get bored by Home. I don't want stand around and dance. Many of the features they promised seemed cool, but I'd much rather play video games instead. If you logged into Home when you turn on the PS3, then I would be more interested in it

Hmm, maybe if it came with some "Helghast Honeys" (read: hoes) to prance around my throne I'd consider it.

Pricing? They must be joking. If playing Halo is evidence of stupidity on the 360, every dollar sign in Home is evidence of it on the PS3.

I find Home a nice time waster, can't really be bothered to get stuck into a real game? Hit up Home, play some pool, check out the new bids in the theatre, or check out the new shit on Xi.

I also buy the OCCASIONAL thing, just when you've got £2 in your wallet and you can only add a minimum of £5, then I figure fuck it I'll blow it in Home on some furniture or something.

i do however really wish we could get the TV's etc, as they were a pretty massive part that has just been ommitted. I actually would have buddies round to my home space to check out my vids and stuff.

Shame, sort it out Sony!
