If I'm being honest, I want the Kentucky Route Zero developers, Cardboard Computer, to take as much time as they need perfecting each and every episode of the game. But if I'm being serious, I want them all right freakin' now.

Well, it looks like I won't have to wait much longer for Episode 2 at least, since it will be coming out in April. The developers are sticking with a three-month schedule for releasing new episodes, which means Episode 3 will be in July, Episode 4 in October, and the finale in January of next year.

When talking to Joystiq, the developers mentioned that there will be no "good" or "bad" endings, and not everything will be unicorns and rainbows when it comes to a close. "The story's a tragedy, it's a tragic ending. Hopefully it won't be too bleak, but it's in that tradition." I can't wait to see where this bizzare story goes, so I will be counting down the months in between each episode.

Review: Kentucky Route Zero

If I described Kentucky Route Zero as an episodic point-and-click, I'd be selling it short. Sure, it's episodic -- and, yeah, you move your mouse to point and click, but this game is something else. Something bigger. Somethin...more
