Yes, this is another one of those projects aimed at bringing Guitar Hero-style rhythm action to the real world.

Kasabian Football Hero, as it's been dubbed, involves soccer balls being kicked at vibration sensors to the tune of freeware Guitar Hero PC clone Frets on Fire. It's absolutely crazy to the point where I'm at a loss for words.

All I know is that you should watch the video of it in action. I can't help but wonder where the inspiration for this massive undertaking came from.

That wasn't even cool at all. The one with the kid riding on the bike was much more impressive.

@garison -- are you serious? You know that was a PR stunt by Activision right? It was totally fake.

@Joseph: It was still better than this.

This, the one where the class made their classroom into a Bomberman virtual reality game, and anything else similar to these, will always make me smile. Great video.

@Garison -- but, but, but.

It was just a guy riding a bike. They put the Guitar Hero-y bits on later with a computer. Like, anybody with a bike and Photoshop could've done that.

I guess I'm biased because I'm rather fond of soccer. :D

I don't know, maybe I would have been more impressed if they would have actually hit all of the notes at the right times, the whole thing looked very sloppy to me ... but I have to admit the technical aspect is amazing.

The soccer players could have done it better though.

Wow, that was quite the production. Pretty cool, it would be fun to try other ways of pressing the buttons.

Well that was quite awesome. The lengths people will go to play more guitar hero (frets of fire) :)

Wow, it's like an American action movie! I'm pretty sure there's something awesome going on, but there's too many camera moves and cuts and transitions to see anything. Thanks, idiots.
