Bad journalism is bad journalism, and barraging her with sincere but misinformed reviews is really just very, very funny and appropriate. Yep
I cried as I read all the amazingly eloquent things people said about her book. The tragedy is that she is the only person to have been so vulnerable to the gaming backlash... we unfortunately can't do this to everyone who uses the subject of video games and violence/sex to gain the attention of the media (because not everyone has published a book for us to trash).

I will always be an advocate for taking the high road and arguing fools like this with logic and fact. That being said most of this stuff is hilarious and are the perfect answer to Cooper Lawrence.

This book makes no sense. I haven't really read it. I looked at the research and it told me it made no sense. The research said it's confusing. Someone asked me the other day, did you read it? I laughed and said, Nooo! Then how do you know it's any good? I told them I did my research. That's good enough.

Everyone who still plans on buying Mass Effect should do so on Amazon, after viewing that book, so it will show that customers that viewed that page ultimately ended up buying Mass Effect. That would be epic. Well... more epic.

The key difference with these reviews and her comments on the news short is that her comments were made with what seemed to be sheer earnestness. She was sincere. You'd have to be brain dead to not get that these reviews are intentionally ironic, ad hoc attacks. It's satire at it's finest, and it's brilliant.
Take this example:
This book's title seems positive, when the actual book is anything but. The effort of the author and publishing company to market this book towards children is disturbing to say the least. While they claim that this book is actually marketed towards young adult women there is not yet an effective way to stop children from purchasing this book. The purveyors know this and see it as nothing more than an advantage to their bottom line.
