A viral video has hit the Internet today, rumored to be a teaser trailer for Kane & Lynch: Dog Days, the sequel to Eidos' sub-par but tragically promising co-op shooter. Despite what you might think about Kane & Lynch, this video is pretty damn awesome, despite being short and rather pointless. It involves a dog being battered with a chair, which I personally think is rad.

It's not been confirmed as Kane & Lynch related, but it's definitely tied into a videogame, and K&L seems to be as good a theory as any. Check it out and see if you have any of your own ideas. Whatever it is, I'm fairly certain it's got nothing to do with The Legend of Zelda ... although that would be amazing.

Am I missing something? I don't see even a hint that this could be related to Kane and Lynch.

@wanderpixel;

Dude who is attacked by the dog looks like he's sporting Lynch's trademark skullet. Also, the subtitle of the sequel is "Dog Days", and this does indeed seem to indicate a particularly bad day involving dogs.

Certainly looked like Lynch in the video there.

I actually really enjoyed Kane & Lynch. Had a thrilling story, with solid gameplay mechanics. It's a shame that everybody is so eager to over-criticise these days... if the game came out previous generations, it would have been applauded.

I kinda liked the first one. It was enjoyable. And I can't imagine what else this video could pertain to. That's definitely Kane and Lynch.

It can't be Kane and Lynch unless a new developer is doing it. Because even in this condition it looked too well done to be graphically done by IO Interactive.

This new generation has really shown they are creative in storytelling and ideas, but really need new artists.

That's definately Lynch getting attacked by the dog. Anyway, I have high hopes that IO Interactive ditch the 'Freedom Fighters' gameplay and make the story more personal. They had a great duo and the whole game wasted their potential.

He doesn't do a very good job of beating up the dog, does he? It goes after them as soon the tray-attack stops.... O_o
