"Given how we just reviewed the game and gave it a 1.0,"
Did WE (more than one) review it, or did YOU (Jim) review it? Just strange wording.
You have obviously never written as a part of a team in any organized and official manner.
It's we because Jim's review is Destructoid's review.
"I could care less about Kane & Lynch...."
I'm sorry bro but could you care less or couldn't you care less? Because the way you've written it suggests you care.
I don't see how its a slap in the face that they had dlc planned before launch. It's not like they knew you would hate the game but thought.....
"Jim Sterling is going to hate the game. To slap him in the face we are going to announce launch date dlc....hahaha that will teach him"
I get you don't like the game but you seem to be taking this rather personally.
IO Interactive gave away The Dope Bag DLC for free for the original. Plus, The Mask Pack is part of the extras you get in the UK Limited Edition, which is priced the same as the standard version. So, it's likely that the US is being charged more for no reason at all. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
I knew they were going to charge for DLC this time around. Shame really, but it's a shit business.
Go read some English books then come back and comment please.
But it's your review and your opinion that it's half the content of a full game so that slap in the face with regards to content shouldn't be applied to all of us.
I'm sure the game sucks and your review is spot on but for a second there it seemed you were applying your opinion to all of ours.
More like a slap in the face with a smelly dick.
Anyway, this is some serious bullshit. Despite other's opinions and the review I was looking forward to this and to hear about DLC shenanigans already, especially after the first game got a guy fired from gamespot (regardless of the fact that I think Jeff Gerstman is the laziest fucking retard asshole who shouldn't be reviewing games) I don't think it's fair for IO to put one over on us. I feel jipped and I didn't even buy the game.
Jim wrote a review for Destructoid.com (it's a gamin g website that sometimes reviews things.) His review is Destructoid.com's review because he is a writer of Destructoid.com
I'm glad to have taught you this.
Up yours dude.
I'm not saying jim is wrong, I was just saying his initial post seemed to be speaking for everyone and came across as a bit presumptive.
I suppose the only good thing here is that in the time between your last post and my reply someone might have found you edgy and cool, even though it's clear you didn't understand the concept I was trying to show.
Destructoid as a staff speak as a whole. If one person believes the game is bad, then the rest of the staff supports them. That is why Jim wrote, "Us." He does speaks for the rest of their company, just as Devore, Hamza, Davis, etc will speak for the rest of the staff on their reviews.
His initial post SHOULD be speaking for everyone.
If you think it's anything but a BAD THING to plan to make people pay for DLC that is shipped on the disc at launch, then you're out of your mind. This is nothing but a clear scheme built out of greed and cynicism on the publisher's shoulder. Even if the game didn't suck, this would be reason enough to not pay for the game.
