At least non PS+ subscribers can still play online for free, unlike Silver members which is free but can't play online. It doesn't even matter anyways. Non PS+ subcribers can wait 1 week, can't they?

Sure you don't need playstation plus to play online now, but for how long? I can see the PR quotes now; "we here at Sony computer entertainment of America believe that a the playstation network is an amazing value, so to improve our online servers we are making all online play require playstation plus, and we feel it is competetively priced."

It's a week, big deal. I don't mind waiting a week in exchange for FREE in the slightest. If you want someone to blame for this business model, then take a look at the money Microsoft has been raking in. They treated their customers like bitches, and it WORKED.

Sony is tricking you into thinking that you are getting the demo "early". What's really happening is your being withheld for a week whereas you would have normally gotten it free without PSN Plus, and you have to pay $50 a year.

Now, if it hadn't been on Xbox for a while, this could have been less insulting. I mean, PSN plus members could have gotten it earlier than everybody else, with Xbox and non PSN plus getting it some time later at the same time. But that this thing has been out already on competing platform really makes the situation silly.

I probably won't ever get psn + but on side note llort het you are a worse 360 fanboy then infamy and hardock, what has this site come to recently
mmm i dont really know if you guys have a good source for saying that if PSN+ didnt exist then every PSN memeber would have gotten the demo on tuesday...
whatever the case is... i just wanted to comment on PSN+, i really think is worth it, you know, you get to play free games that otherwise you may never spent money on... in my case i believed wipeout HD to be too expensive, now i got with plus and really think is worth its 15 usd price.
the only problem i see with the model... for instance, i want to buy trine, 10 bucks, relatively cheap... but... what if... in september they give it away for free?... it is an incentive to refrain from buying PSN games at some level... maybe sony should put up a decent calendar on free plus games
