If this comes to the UK I might regret buying a new laptop. I've been meaning to get a PS3 since my 4th Elite RROD'd.
I wonder how this will affect the SonyStyle $100 credit when you buy a PS3. You could already get a PS3 from there for $299 for the last year or two after you sign up for the Sony credit card.

I hope this is more reliable than my PStwo (or PS2 Slim or whatever you wanna give it). I love my PS2 but I've had to repair this thing thrice already. Not even my 360 has given me that much lip.

@Goodykoontz - Same here. I already own a PS3, but I would buy this to either replace or add to my current console if it featured BC.

Eh... I think I'll stay away from PS3 gaming till those game prices go down. Maybe by then they'll make it ps2 compatible (I've been neglecting some of my other gaming consoles anyway). Damn sure better be ps1 compatible though.
