Budget dinosaur murder simulator Jurassic: The Hunted is out this week on all consoles, which is breaking news in and of itself. But to sweeten the deal, we have some unedited gameplay footage from the Wii version courtesy of Go Nintendo.

Judging by the same punch-a-dinosaur-in-the-face-because-you-can sequence found in the trailer for the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 versions of Jurassic: The Hunted, I have a feeling it's the same exact game, just with lesser visuals; as if that even matters for this kind of, uh, "experience" in the first place.

Still, it's good to know everyone can get the same unintentionally hilarious fun from this game. I took the liberty of taking a few screencaps of the good parts. Enjoy!

Oh and by the way, what's up with the weird sound effects at 6:50? Do I even want to know?

lol wut?

I was rolling at 1:40 when the chick gets yanked out of the plane by a thunderbolt. She was possibly the only thing this game had going for it and they lightning'd the shit out of her. Oh well. At least we still have Turok.

This actually doesn't look half bad for a Wii game, and if only if was an open world survival game where you had to run from dinosaurs and all that jazz. Imagine the awesome possibilities.

I'm still crossing my fingers that dinosaurs become the new vampires.

They are working on an all new Jurassic as we speak ya know! I vote for Rocksteady to make the inevitable vidjagame tie-in.

@Xzyliac

I'm down for a reimagining of Twilight where everyone is a dinosaur and eats people.

Man... This looks awful. And this is coming from a Wii supporter.

Seriously, at this point one can only be sure when it comes to Nintendo games for the console. Everything else looks awful, has messy framerate and/or plays terribly.

The lightning lady was epic idc what anyone says and as far as the sound effect goes it's easy to explain...Obviously all the dinos are are turbine powered which is why it sounds sorta like a plane taking off with some crackling electricity...or the game is crappy and broken whichever but i do like the premise of this game.Who doesn't like to...PUNCH A DINOSAUR IN THE FACE..that's what J park needed lol

Is it me or every fps Wii game look awful to control?
Love the random electric sound effect at 6:50 !

Sounds at 6:50 are the same as when the Terminator appears, so it might be possible that naked cyborgs were appearing somewhere...

ahahaha I'm so glad you chose that screen grab. That was the shining moment of the whole video.

Also, Turok is in the plane!?!?!? Why is his face rubber :(

How in the hell can anyone think this game looks terrible? It looks great. The models are nice, the textures are decent, the map layout is beautiful, the animation is extremely impressive, and the story is funny.

They need to make a proper Turok sequel... This looks like it might be 1/15th as fun as Turok 2 Seeds of Evil.

I think the lighting sound effects have something to do with you changing the past because you shot those dinosaurs in the face, which seems pretty cool actually.

it really doesn't look that bad.

But I thought it was a Jurassic Park tie-in, not a no-name game.

So how does this game actually have some of the better graphics I've seen on the Wii?

Otherwise though, I find it pretty hilarious that one of the only dinos come across in the video gets AI glitched behind a box at the end of the vid and only takes one (badly aimed) shot to kill.

Sad when a budget game has some of the best graphics for the system.
