So this game came out of nowhere, and it can't be a good sign, but Activision's upcoming Jurassic: The Hunted for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2 sounds amazing.

Set on a "mysterious island lost in time," Jurassic: The Hunted puts players in the role of weapons and survival expert Craig Dylan who is hired to protect a research team. But here's where it really gets good -- Dylan gets transported back in time by the Bermuda Triangle, and then has to fight for survival against bloodthirsty dinosaurs.

I know, right!?!?

The game is said to feature "arena" style fights against dinos, survival modes, and dino boss battles. It's only $39.99, and it's coming out on November 3. I have no idea if this game is going to be good -- considering the price and the "out of the blue" release, it's easy to guess "probably not." But that certainly isn't stopping me from wanting to play it... badly.

Animations and overall graphics look iffy. And also this

hm... monster hunter with land of the lost (Maybe!) if it had awesome humor it would be an instant buy...
I highly doubt it will have the same effect as MH did

This looks like prime 10 dollar bargain bin material. I shall wait until then.

I'll keep an eye out for this second hand. You can't go too wrong designing a game where you shoot dinos.

Does it have co-op? Even a crappy dinosaur murder simulator is pretty sweet with a buddy.

I bet my money on a big FAIL. Not being a hater but c'mon, look at the freaking plot! Plus, how are we going to kill a T-rex? Using a shotgun? Humph.
Maybe Turok traumatized me when it comes to dinossaur and games.

Does anyone else want a game involving dinosaurs where you can't use guns or only underpowered ones?

Why can't we just have a dino-only game? I just wanna be a velociraptor and rip shit up.

Meh, I was really hoping this would be a Carnivores remake or something, but it just looks like a generic shooter with dinosaurs.

I love me some dinosaurs and for 40 it's a buy.

i was just saying earlier that with all of the remakes going on these days that dino crisis should really be one of them. this is so not it by a long shot but it might quench my dino blood thirst for the time being. looks kinda gay though...

@dj-anon : I already played it, it's Peter Jackson's King Kong (which also happen to be my best movie tie in game, btw).

OMG! twin headed velociraptor! That didn't stop from wanting to play it badly either. I already survived that Dino Crisis Lite gun shooting game with a controller! What's the name of that game again? Dino Crisis:Gun Survivor??? It's also creepily named as Dino Stalker in some places.
