I dont like inFamous, but i also dont like the fact that Prototype wouldnt be that popular without its gore!
Lol Trev I think you're right. They probably do make their houses out of Wii's and DS's as well as money as they have so much to spare they are literally rolling in it.

inFAMOUS was released on May 26th, and sold 176.000 copies in 5 days then.
Add that to the June copies to have similar data to compare, and you get a very respectable 368.700 copies sold in about the same time frame as Prototype (which was released in early June).
Obviously with 419.900 copies prototype still outsells infamous, but when you look ast the 360 installbase vs PS3 ... yeah.
infamous is not only the superior game (as per reviewers -and- Yahtzee's contest), but it did better on sales per machine average :)

Well, Prototype sold bad in the console in wich people had a choice.

what a shock.. a game on three platforms (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) beat a game on one platform (not to mention the platform selling the least out of the three). Who would have ever guessed (/sarcasm)

i can't believe people are still taking this seriously. my favorite is the guy that thinks yahtzee chose infamous over prototype. it's like people have created a new reality for themselves over this game.
I wish I lived in a world were people didnt get pissed off about one videogame selling better than another one... seriously :(
PS3 version of Prototype sold less than InFAMOUS because PS3 fanboy-Zealots boycotted Prototype because it wasn't a PS3 exclusive.

My brother bought inFamous for his PS3 and started suffering back and leg pains, and the doctors say he needs some rehabilitation. I haven't bought Prototype for my Xbox and I'm totally fine..... that's gotta prove something
