Recently, lead Joystiq writer Robert Summa invited us into his Xbox Live party of 1, where gaming fanboy cats crashed the party. I thought that was a cool feature - very personal, yet not narcissitic nor does it provide enough evidence on whether or not a person is a chainsaw murderer. Not to be outdone, I've also rounded up two accomplices, even if I had to be an indian giver and take away my girlfriend's Monkey(tm). The other is, of course, a robot - my favorite Transformer: Jetfire (even if it was a ripoff Macross Valkerie). So there you have it - Nintendo Fanboy and Sony Fanboy, meet your nemesiseseses! So! I'm taking a break from (not) reporting gaming news in a timely manner to invite ya'll into my gaming room (read: look at all me' old shite that makes me happy). I shot this video from last night's Papa John's / Guitar Hero jam out session in COLD HARD METAL. In case you missed it, here's Dtoid's cameo on Gamespot's Guitar Hero 2 program at E3. You also get a glimpse of my NES collection in this video, which certainly would narrow down the possible NES game for Destructoid's own Nintendo Wii giveaway contest. Was the game shown, or was it off camera? Hmmm, interesting. Why yes, I am wearing a (pimp) Joystiq shirt! Ludwig Kietzmann graciously gave me one at E3!
UPDATE 4 - DING DING DING - ROUND 3 COMETH!!! Gotta love Joystiq: Mr. Summa has acknowledged our homage but will also not be outdone. He writes "Expect a full-scale assault response at some point next weekend with our own video." but here's where it gets funny - he also adds "So when is Kotaku gonna step up to the plate?". Oh Faith, look at what you started! I believe "takes the early lead" is a sure sign that I'm about to be torn a new asshole. We need to take immediate evasive action - does anybody know where this guy lives? I know my Seinfeld and I've got a turkey sandwich with his name on it.
