Journey leads D.I.C.E. awards with 11 nominations
The 16th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards take place next month in Las Vegas and the nominations have been announced by The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. I'm not at all surprised to see Journey taking the top of the nomination counts wit 11 noms, including Game of the Year. Their nomination list looks a lot like ours for 2012, with games like The Walking Dead, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown earning nods. The awards take place on February 7th, where I'll hopefully be sitting in the audience, laughing at new host Chris Hardwick, founder of Nerdist.com. "The D.I.C.E. Awards are VERY important to me,” said Hardwick. “I have been playing video games since there were video games. I hope there is some type of Dovahkiin Shout that will make sure I don't mess this up. I will find one! If not, I'll just look like a psychotic, screaming as*hole leading up to the Awards." Below you'll find a list of nominations for this year's awards. Who are you picking for winner?
