Megan Fox, Megan Fox, Megan Fox. It's seemingly all I hear about lately, as America has found yet another relatively hot female to latch onto and saturate the world with until everybody's bored of her. One person is reportedly already angry at the Megan Fox craze, and she has every right to be -- after all, she just stole her role as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movies.
According to The Sun (so who knows how truthful it is?), Angelina Jolie is "furious" at Megan Fox for being cast as Lara Croft in future Tomb Raider films, believing she'll be unable to do the character "justice." The Sun adds that, "She's also annoyed because she thinks Megan copies everything from her, from her tattoos to her style."
Jolie was allegedly intent on reprising the role, and is angry at the idea of someone "less capable" than her taking on a role that she "defined."
I can somewhat understand Jolie's catty bitching. After all, Jolie knows what it's like to be Hollywood's latest craze and whored out until everybody's sick of seeing her face everywhere, and it must be hard when the fickle gossip columns and easily-distracted mainstream audiences find a new human plaything. Jolie just needs to console herself with the fact that, once Megan gets a little older, it'll happen to her as well. I'm already tired as Hell of hearing her bloody name everywhere.

There are better choices.
The Tomb Raider films suck and will continue to suck. The character just isn't that interesting. She has tits and she jumps around a lot, leading to those tits bouncing. That's all Lara is.
That said, I will certainly watch the new movie when it comes to HBO or Cinemax one day, if only to see Megan's sweet ass for a moment or two.
Then I will promptly turn it off and play some games.
I really don't care who plays Croft, the two Jolie films were awful anyway.

Anyway, I'm not a huge Angelina Jolie fan, but she plays Lara Croft very well. Honestly, I don't think that I could think of anyone better for the role, especially because she really has Lara's personality down.

Well, to each his own, I guess. There are, of course, famous women who are considered "hot" but I wouldn't consider them as such.
As far as Megan Fox goes, you can count me in the group that jizzes his pants from every photo taken of her...she is damn, damn hot, IMO.
I actually don't mind Angelina Jolie... she's her own person, and she's actually not a bad actress (Girl Interrupted, Changeling, Gia) and doesn't mind taking roles where she's more than just a "pretty face". I also like that she does a lot of humanitarian work, and doesn't seem to do it for the press.
... at this point in her career, Fox seems to have been little more than a "pretty face"... as to whether she'll actually grow into a real actress, that remains to be seen - but taking on the role of Lara Croft certainly won't get her there. If she does do this, it'll be a bad career move.
That's gotta sting right now.
But I wouldn't even share a glass with Jolie.
More to the point, she's a really, really shit actress. We can look forard to lots of straight-to-DVD Tomb Raider films then I guess.
