Joe Danger gets a PSN demo tomorrow photo

If you already have the fantastic PSN title Joe Danger, you can skip ahead to the next post. This is for those that haven't tried the game yet.

There's a demo coming for Joe Danger. I don't know what took them so long. If I were Hello Games, I would have been showing this bad boy off in demo form from day one. It's never too late, I guess. Tomorrow the North American PlayStation store will be updated, and the demo will be available.

If you haven't read our review of Joe Danger yet, check it out now.

Sounds good to me.

(PS - I'll never understand why it takes PSN so long to get demos for its games.)

Im pretty sure that I will purchase this game but, Scott Pilgrim vs the word, Earthworm Jim HD and latest Fat Princes DLC has my cash, I will wait for this a little and maybe I get lucky and have it at $9 instead of the $15, I know is a good game, but I just think myself that $15 its not a good price for PSN games.

Yessssss, been waiting for a demo for this since it came out. Call me a pragmatist, I mean, I've heard amazing things, but I still wanna try out a demo a first. I think XBLA has spoiled me in that regard.

This is why PSN should have a required demo for all downloadable games...

@amtlax PSN doesn't force demos or exclusivity on publishers. It's the publishers responsibility to do a demo.

I'm a fan of the reigns being left in publishers hands myself.

I know they have to pay, but still, it's their call.

It's something people forget when comparing psn and xbl, that the psn is there to facilitate developers, they supply the servers, demos, etc. Xbl is a totally different system where Microsoft holds all the cards and calls all the shots.

Not ripping on either, just pointing out that they're run in very different ways.

The SDK provided by MS actually makes delineating demo levels very easy. I've worked with MS cert in various capacities for years, and it's a far cry from the gulag people make it out to be.

I've found XBLA to be the best balance of an open marketplace and a controlled environment. When marketplaces get too open, the implementation is usually sloppy and disorganized because there are no standards. Standards sound like "the man" trying to keep developers down, but what it actually does is allow consumers to set expectations. However, if a marketplace is too closed, content control and censorship become an issue.

Contrary to our natural instinct for freedom, providing an open playground for everyone doesn't lead to flourishing profits, which is what the whole point is to begin with.
