Jimquisition: Lawsuits, Memes, and Tasty Medicine

May 06 // Jim Sterling    @JimSterling

Jimquisition happens every Monday!

Warner Bros. and 5th Cell are facing a lawsuit over the inclusion of Keyboard Cat and Nyan Cat in Scribblenauts. Preposterous, you say? Greedy, are the meme makers? I say well done them!

It's absolutely about time Warner Bros. got a taste of its own medicine, and suffered from the system it exploits on a regular basis for its own ends. Before you side with the game company -- as gamers are so often happy to do -- first consider the entity that is being defended. Perhaps, as Jimquisition argues, this is a case of WB reaping what it sowed.
