2K approached Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and other awesome things, to create an image for BioShock 2. The result is this piece called “The Sisters” which shows the Big Sister watching over two Little Sisters somewhere in Rapture.
Jhonen wrote up a guest blog over on The Cult of Rapture where he details the process he went through in creating the freaky little image. Jhonen will also be at San Diego Comic-Con signing special edition prints of his “The Sisters” drawing at the BioShock 2 booth. There will only be 500 prints of “The Sisters” drawing so you better get to the BioShock 2 booth as soon as you hit the show floor.
In other news, BioShock 2 is going to be at San Diego Comic-Con in some way or form!

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Disproportional eyes, those creepy dresses and hair, and the whole walking around with a giant monster in a fucked up city thing.
Normally Vasquez's work hasn't appealing to me on any level. I don't care for his fascination with insane characters living in a dysfunctional world, emphasis on chaos and darkness. It's a yawn for me.
But golly, that picture strikes my fancy. I love the use of color and distorted perspective. Very nice.
