I turned out some nifty (read:'obscene') grafitti tags in Jet Set Radio Future but now everything is stuck on its harddrive. Just being able to upload images to some image hosting site then downloading them off of the Internet to the console's memory devices, while roundabout and more complex than it seems like it needs to be, is still the best option for in-game tags.
I'll try to be positive about this so as not to even come close to risking jinxing this re-release in any possible way.
That one song from JSRF: Yes, I am cooking for my son and his wife/It's his thirtieth birthday.
And then she screams in the chorus.
Do I do I listen to the music do I do I Do!
I've never played it, I don't really know how it's played (and I'm afraid to find out and ruin the surprise since I'll probably buy it no matter what just because of teh hype).
But this trailer makes it look a bit like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for N64/PS1. Which I liked the heck out of, so hopefully this is good too.
Its a cult classic because it was a good game overall with a personality that still hasn't been repeated since. There have been other grafitti games since then, but none as inspired.
I'm buying Jet Set Radio HD on day 1, gotta' show the support in order to increase the chances of a JSRF HD release and in the what we all wish...a proper sequel!!!
So everyone keep it funky and support this! Go and tell your friends...we need more of this kind on the market...those of us who are always seeking for fun, original and good looking games in terms of style of course, remember that Cel-shading was the bomb back in the day and JSR played a huge role in order for this rendering technique to become popular and widely used!...who's thinking about Zelda Wind Waker huh?
Remember...Understand The Concept of Love!!!
but again,JSRF for PC/PS3/360 TOO....i REPEAT..JET-SET-RADIO-FUTUUUUUUUUUUUURE FOR PC/PS3/360 TOO!!!!!!
Now, lets hope that Jet Set Radio Next can still be on Sega's drawing board somewhere.
