Jessica Chobot, host of
IGN Weekly, posted on her blog,
The Baroness, some of her artwork. Did you all know she was an artist? I didn't. She wrote that at one time her goal was to be a fine artist, and actually had a BFA.
Well judging from the samples posted on her blog, she is an exceptionally fine artist. Would you like to see them? Great, hit the sweet "VIEW STORY" button and enjoy. BTW I know from reading other posts on Dtoid that some of you all are at work right now, so I should tell you that these examples of Jessica's art contain nudity. It's pixelated but at a quick glance and you may get the wrong idea, especially the final one.
Here they are, I'm going to add below each picture a brief description from Jessica;
My geisha painting, inspired by Memoirs of a Geisha (the book, not the movie).
A drawing of the Goddess Athena from Greek mythology that I had originally created for my friend (and ex-boyfriend) Ed. I've always been very intrigued with the Greek and Roman mythos and it's always been somewhat reflective within my artwork.
A painting of Lilith (the supposed first wife of Adam. Now believed to be the mother of daemons). This picture was actually painted for my thesis show and sold for around $300.00.
My most recent (and risqué) drawing to date. I actually LOVE this drawing for reasons that are different than what you are thinking. 1.) I love the way the hair came out. Looks as if there's actually weight to it. Also really dig her toes. I have NEVER drawn toes that well before. Frickin' DIG those toes.
