Jason Rohrer -- the guy who created Passage and Gravitation -- has just released a new game, called Between. I sort of helped with the playtesting (woo special thanks credit), so I won't bother saying too much about what I think about the game, or what it means. I'd usually do an Indie Nation article full of theories and interpretations, but all the themes and mechanics were directly explained to me during the testing process.
Still, I'm sure you folks can get it. It was confusing as hell when I played an earlier version and, though I still think it could be a little more clear, the game is definitely decipherable in its current state.
More importantly, Between is a multiplayer-only game. You need one other person to play it with, and they can't be in the same room as you (and, ideally, shouldn't be reachable through instant messaging). Feel free to partner up for games in the comments, or in the cblogs, or whatever you like. The game is as interesting as it is difficult to understand, and deserves to be played.
If you can't find anyone to play with, I'll play it with you.
I don't think that screen shot does anything justice. It makes me want to play it less.
Simple instructions would do. With a multiplayer aspect, I have literally no clue if I'm doing it right or wrong, or if the other player is even there. :-S
I'm sure it's good once it's been explained or demonstrated.
Put me down for excited (though grayfox has me nervous that this one might be too vague).

I'm pretty sure it's the pastel-coloured blocks to the left. I assume that as the other guy builds his structure you get more pastel blocks to use, but when I played there were only a couple and no more were being created. Pretty sure the dude left.
there are three "dimensions" wich you can cycle between by going to sleep or waking.
when you wake up, you take the blocks in the wooden struckture with you as a spawnable small block which you can use to build the towers.
now, the co-op part is that one of the three dimensions is "shared" (for me it's the one with the brown ground) and you see all the blocks the other player spawns in their negative collours (and vica versa) wich if you put blocks of the same colour in the structure, you can spawn in the other dimensions.
how some of the blocks in the shared dimension can change into random mixed blocks is a mistery.
@Satsumomo: *Hank Hill-like exasperated shudder*
It was fun for the 30 minutes we fiddled with it though :).
