Japanese version of Home receiving Soul Calibur and Tekken lounges photo

Two massively popular fighting game franchises not named Street Fighter are getting their own lounges in Sony’s Home. According to a recent Famitsu article (picked up by VG247) Soul Calibur and Tekken are to be immortalized with couches and chairs in the Japanese version of Sony’s revolutionary social service.

There aren’t any firm dates or normal indicators that dictate where, when, or even why – but apparently users will be able to buy clothes and furniture to match the spaces. Namco is known for its fairness of price and quality of downloadable content, so we’re set to receive it with open arms if the areas and content make it over the pond.

Right now, Home is sporting Far Cry 2 and Uncharted spaces, designed not only as a place to launch a game, but to provide a social outlet for avid players. While we can’t buy a rusty Far Cry AK47 that jams every 10 seconds quite yet, we can only pray that one is coming soon. Make it happen, Ubisoft.

Only in the Japanese version? Well, I guess we have to wait for the chairs and tables to be translated from Japanese to English...

I also read that there's gonna be a Riiiiiiidge Racer lounge. I just want to play with one of those toy racetrack things in there.

I need the Warhawk room NOW!! The game launcher actually works pretty well. They definitely need to make it mandatory that all games can launch from Home though.

The Uncharted bar is cool visually but boring after you've figured out how to get into the secret rooms. Farcry 2's space is just plain boring.

Dammit Japs get the best rooms. They'll have like strip clubs with Christie and Ivy riding the polls, and we get stuck with dirt fields and train stations.

Well, the EU (rest of the world) Home doesn't have any game themed spaces at all yet.

Am I the only one thinking that a Dead Space zero-G room would be bloody awesome?

Actually the article on the famitsu website said, all of this would be coming today, and there is also a home maintenance sheduled for today in Japan.

Also I couldn't care less about Namco stuff, because I'd rather have these:
