Earlier in the year we told you about Sony Japan's new Carnival colors for the PSP-3000. Now we're getting a better look at them in a Japanese commercial.
The four colors, Radiant Red, Vibrant Blue, Bright Yellow, and Spirited Green, should either be in Japanese stores right about now, or, with the latter two colors, coming later this week. A mere 19,800 yen will get you just the system, and 24,800 yen (about $279) will get you a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, PSP pouch, wrist strap, and cloth bundle.
In the video after the jump you'll see the four colors alongside each other in a Japanese television spot. We agree with Kotaku that it looks like a car commercial. While it doesn't win the race, the Spirited Green is a winner to me. My current system has been around the track a few times, so this one will be a fine replacement.
There's still no word on a release date here. Just import and be done with it, I say.
