Japan XBLA gets Garou: Mark of the Wolves next week photo

So the Japanese Xbox Live Arcade has a confirmed date for the release of SNK's lovely fighter Garou: Mark of the Wolves: June 24th, where it will launch at the price of 800 Microsoft Points ($10). I know that does nothing for you as a Japan-only release date, but I'm not giving up hope.

First off, as Siliconera reminds, Mark of the Wolves supports online worldwide play. It would be a huge waste if they didn't also announce it for other territories. Also, like we mentioned before, the ESRB has rated this title, which points to a US release. We hoped to hear something at E3 but didn't. Maybe they'll surprise us next week? Maybe they were on vacation and forgot to tell us?

I think at worst, we'll get it a few weeks later. It has to be coming.

I hate that this is 360 only. Luckily, I have the game on Dreamcast and PS2 so I don't necessarily need it but damn do I want it.

Well XBL market place has profile pictures of this title up for sale.

Strange they would offer that and not the game for the US. *Wink*
