Quantcast

Numblast. It’s a downloadable puzzle title with wicked bright colors and tons of rotation -- two things that spell "brain hurt" for me. Still, the game appears to be a solid puzzle title. The core goal is to rotate and thus align matching squares in 2 x 2 blocks. Once matched, these numbered-puppies pop while counting upwards from the initial number, creating more and more colorful opportunities.

If this is your thing, get excited: an announcement on the official PS blog this afternoon pegged the game’s PSN release date as this Thursday. It was also mentioned that the game is to debut at $4.99 and be available for PS3 and PSP play.

So, puzzle people, does this look like something that may become your jam?

This game is fantastic. Once you get it, it's the greatest thing ever.

Also it's made from the same people that made Mr Driller.

That's some weird voice acting there. But clearing the whole board in one fell swoop? Interesting.

I might just be too stupid to play this.

The puzzle part of it looks good and the price is good but holy crap the characters are annoying. And the voice acting wtf.

the game looks interteresting... if it didn't have the annoying characters and sound effects. This is one I would definitely play with the sound on MUTE!

SOLD!

Though I may have to turn off the stupid voices if possible.

I wish more games on PSN would work this way (ie available for both PS3 and PSP).

Already played the demo from another country's PSN (UK/JP/KR, can't remember which one). For me it's a pass, even at 5 bucks.
