Japan gets new Disgaea 3 content packs while we wait patiently photo

I can't wait for this fall's release of Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice for the PlayStation 3. Every time I see or hear more about the game, I get that much more anxious. Hamza got a Prinny plush! I hate him!

While we're here waiting, Japan is getting some awesome downloadable content packs for their version of the game. Japanese Web page Watch Impress has a massive collection of screenshots from the first new pack, which adds the past game's characters, Adell and Rosalin, as playables. Oh, and Nekomata beasts. Meow.

The best part is that all of these characters can be downloaded for the grand total of only 500 yen (200 yen for Adell and Rosalin, and 100 for Nekomata).  All together, for this price, they will also recieve a special Disgaea 3 PS3 theme as a bonus.

Here's hoping that NIS America will let us in on this downloadable content. For now, enjoy the images in the gallery below.

August can't come soon enough!

[Thanks, Zulu]

Actually there is no pack. Adell and Rosalin are 200Yen each and Nekomata is 100Yen. So all in all it's 500 Yen.
Also there are bonus levels for Adell and Rosalin.

BTW: They also announced, that there will be more DLC coming once per month until September.
Also they have a page dedicated to the DLC: http://disgaea.jp/3D/

I can't wait for my PSN card to get here.

100 + 200 = 500? What?

Either way, here's to hoping that this is the definitive Disgaea version.

No Taro no sale. Taro is the only good character.

Also I have no PS3 so it's a no-go regardless, haha. But srsly, where's the Taro love, he was awesome.

Brahms: Adell and Rosalin are ¥200 EACH. So ¥400, plus the ¥100 for Nekomata.

Anyway, this is spectacular. One can never have too much Disgaea. ;D I WANT THIS GAME NOW.

Here's to hoping they just throw in this extra stuff FOR FREE in the US release.

What's wrong, NIS America? Don't have the STONES to do it?

Why does the cat class (whose name escapes me right now) have such a thin neck this time around? Catwomen are not meant to be strangled.

I'm still waiting for this to come out. And to get a PS3, but that's a minor issue.

"I can't wait for this fall's release of Disgaea 3..."
Not to be one of those people, but August isn't fall. It's still summer. I take small details really really seriously
:)
I'm all over this once it comes out, but first I need a way to play Disgaea 2, dammit...

August is not one of the 3 summer months.
Also, I wish ps3 didn't cost so much.

@Gen Eric Gui

Gemsi is UK, and I assume he wants an English version. Who knows how long it'll take till Koei releases it there ;P.

August IS summer. So is a good chunk of September actually, though that's typically considered autumn because of school and things. It goes late-June to late-September, with July and August being the only months that are entirely summer.

..for the record. ;p
