Persona 4 is everywhere! It's on your Vita, in your fighting game cabinets, and now on Japanese cell phones. Index Corporation announced Persona 4 Social (tentative title) as one of the social games they’re working on. There's not much in the way of details on this title, but it's certain to be something like Mobage-town title Persona 3 Social. Maybe there will more yellow this time.
Siliconera says that Index has another mobile title in the works. They're working with Keiji Inafune on a social game called The Island of Dr. Momo.

The Persona series is really the only in-house Atlus game to get this sort of treatment (the others, Catherine being the exception, have been really niche). It all seems like a bit much at once, I agree, but seeing that all but one of these things are being developed by Atlus themselves, it seems more like a timing thing than "Oh, now people love the series, so we should milk it." P4 has been out for a good while, after all. I'm a big fan, though, so I might be biased lol
I'm a big fan as well, Persona 4 is one of my favorite (if not my absolute favorite) games of all time. It's just one of those "too much of a good thing" situations. I'd rather Atlus spend their resources making other Shin Megami Tensei games.
Persona 3 and 4 were the first games Atlud ever made that sold more than five copies. Eventually they'll get diminishing returns for the franchise and hit rock bottom. Then they'll go back to their roots and enjoy marginal success again.
