Japan gets an authentic Super Mario Collection guide book photo

God dammit, Japan.

In conjunction with the release of Super Mario Collection (or All-Stars to us lesser beings) for the Wii, Nintendo is releasing a Japan-exclusive strategy guide for the game. What makes this one different than your typical guide book? It's a reissue of the ORIGINAL Super Mario Collection guide released 17 years ago. Talk about all kinds of awesome.

The book is currently available on Amazon Japan for a paltry 900 yen. From the looks of it, it appears to be a palm-sized read, able to slip neatly into your pocket. Collectible and convenient! Would NOA ever consider bringing this little nugget of history on over? I'm thinking not. Friggin' guys.

999: The Novel is a Choose Your Own Adventure book
