Japan gets a Piposaru Sackboy for LittleBigPlanet first-print discs photo
     Sony

The Japanese PS3 gamers that manage to get their hands on a first-print copy of LittleBigPlanet will also be able to get their own Piposaru Sack Boy.

One of my favorite characters to come out of the Sony camp is the crazy-assed, mind-scrambled monkey Piposaru, of Ape Escape fame.  He now joins the ranks of Kratos, Sephiroth, and many others as the newest Sackboy. This Japanese PlayStation page says that the first-run disc preorders of LBP will get PiposaruBoy and a cute little Sackboy keychain as a bonus.

I hope we'll see Piposaru in the U.S. in the future. Something tells me we'll have plenty to choose from via DLC.

Bonus: Did you know that Ape Escape (Saru Get You! in Japan) has some of the most wacky commercials ever? I put a couple of my favorites after the jump.

[Thanks, GLDC]

Hmmmm, how about they just make AE4 instead of throwing a character skin into a game that has nothing to do with capturing monkeys

I hope we get that outfit here in the US. Heh, I could go for a new ape escape that isn't a mini-game collection.

Heh heh, and I would always have him with the large smile/laughing emote on his face.

Bastards! They need to settle the fuck down with all of these exclusive characters. People are going to get burnt out and stop caring. Especially if they keep make it hard or impossible to get them all.

Also, where's my fucking keychain, bitches?

That outfit looks like it's stretching the Sackboy look, but still, cool.

Hey guys & gals!!! I have a question to ask, how many times can one costume code be used? All over the web people are saying they are sharing different costumes or swapping them on the web.
