I'll tell it to you straight, just like I did yesterday. There's nothing going on. It's just Brad and I in the office, and there's nothing going on at all. New Year's Day is the worst day ever for writing about videogames. It's easily worse than yesterday, and definitely worse than Christmas Eve or even Christmas Day. There's no spirit and energy behind anything that anyone does on this waste of a day. Hell, you're probably putting little to no effort into reading our work today. I don't blame you.
Speaking of a total lack of spirit and energy, here's a horrendous video to entertain you until we find something else to blog about. Never has Ash Ketchum looked more jank than he does in this video. Look at his face! Ash, Pikachu and beloved Japanese character Doraemon hop about town (what?), killing horrible CG wannabes of the more popular Pokemon. And that's it. Oh, well, Doraemon gets gang raped. There's that.
You will feel your brain shrinking while watching this. I'm actually dumber than I was before watching this. Despite how stupid this video was, I can definitively say that this is as good as it gets when it comes to games blogs on New Year's Day.

If you guys are bored, maybe you could do some investigating into the weirdness that is the release date of Heavy Rain on Amazon.
I got an email the other day from Amazon that said the Heavy Rain ship date has been finalized. It said that I should receive the game between January 5th 2012 - January 11th 2012. When I first read it I only saw the "January 5th". I got very excited thinking that they just bumped up the release date and we are getting it next week (instead of the speculated Feb/March date). After reading it again, I read the release date has been changed to Dec 31st 2011.
For all you who can't finish the movie, after Doraemon gets gang-raped (clearly Pikachu was behind the set-up) Pikachu shacks up with Clefairy and runs off. What an asshole.
Ugh, I know all about the total lack of energy and spirit thing. I'm slumped over on my bathroom floor with my laptop after a night of binge drinking and Rock Band and simply don't wanna move for fear of vomiting. Fuck Everclear. I can see why it's illegal now. >_>
Whatever Dale, you lying SOB. You loved it, and enjoyed every second of it, and you know it. In fact, it was so hilarious and awesome to you that you decided to show it to all of us.

My IQ may have dropped down 5 points or so, but that gang rape scene was hilarious. Doraemon just spinning around endlessly, frigtened of the floating ghosts and Pikachu then turning around (hopping, of course) and zaps Doraemon. What a dick.
