$9.99 for the first week

The classic BioWare RPG Jade Empire: Special Edition is now available on GOG.com for an introductory price of $9.99 for the first week (ending on June 18th) -- for reference, Steam currently carries it for $14.99.

It sounds hyperbolic, but Jade Empire is one of the most fun games I've ever played. Although it wasn't as RPG-centric as some of BioWare's older titles, the cast of characters were extremely refreshing, and the game world was addicting. BioWare really was on a roll back then, and you can experience part of that continued post-Baldur's Gate golden age with Jade Empire, if you haven't already.
