I'm a little confused. He's talking about a Blood remake in a modern engine or just a port with a few improvements?
From what I've gathered, Hall is talking more about an enhanced port than any kind of remake/reimagining/remastering. Whatever it is, it sounds neat.

Ohhhh now this is a great piece of news. I hope he gets to do it, Blood is one of my favorite games.

Oh fuck yesssssssssssssss. This is one of the greatest FPS game ever made. I thought Monolith lost the source code to it though?
Hells yes. Flare gun FTW. After this Shadow Warrior plz. Those 2 were my most played fps's back in the day.

Great, so expect *another* kickstarter? Don't see how what he means by "free" otherwise, unless that quote was taken out of context when you used it.
Way I see it, no ones simply going to pour their own time and money into something like this without some back up, and backup means more funding.

There is so much retro stuff coming out in the next few months or year, great time to be a gamer that grew up in the 80's.

I bought this a couple years back after playing through Duke Nukem 3D and it baffled me that Duke has gotten this generally unfunny and trite franchise for the past decade+ while the Blood IP has stagnated. Blood forces me to think with a bit more tact than other 90's 3D shooters like Duke Nukem and Doom, I hope Jace can produce something worthy of the title.
