It's not Bang Bus, it's LAN Bus!

First, a history lesson: The BangBus [relax, its a Wikipedia link] was a hugely succesful reality porn site run out of my fair city of Miami. The concept was the illusion that women were being randomly picked by guys on a bus which had torn out seats, bribed with money, "banged in the bus", then seemingly abandoned in the middle of nowhere. They banked. It was written up by every local paper and EVERYBODY knew about it, even my 60 year old landlady. So you can imagine my surprise when I received this from another show's producer:
The LANBus is a video game competition show that blends reality and sports tv genres. I know there have been several attempts to do this over the years but I feel that our approach is unique. The show's basic premise is to build a bus fill it with kick ass computers and drive around the country looking for the best gamers. The pilot is intended to show what the first act of our show would feel like. Yes, there is no bus in it, yes the gamers aren't the greatest in the world, and yes it was shot in someone's back yard but it is a good illustration of how competition segments will look and how we will handle the important role of fleshing out the contestants as human characters that the audience can then cheer for or hate. This is also a short demo so we don't have a lot of time to get into all the character development we would like to include but I think you'll get the idea of what we are going for. You'll notice we based the show on Unreal Tournament 2k3 which means we have been sitting on this demo for a quite some time. We were interested in selling it to a tv network but G4 was not interested and every agent or production company we spoke with didn't seem to understand what we were trying to do. Feel free to embed that vid on your site and pass it to whomever you know in gaming circles.
So what do you guys think - would you hit it every night or abandon it on a corner?
