Yup, that Warhawk expansion pack that Game Informer revealed last month is the real deal. Called "Operation: Omega Dawn," the expansion will be available this December, and unfortunately, there's not much to it. "Operation: Omega Dawn" delivers one new map, the Omega Factor, which has players fighting through five new layouts of buildings and towers. The map will support all existing multiplayer modes, and is said to be the largest map designed for the game to date. As reported earlier by Game Informer, a new vehicle -- the KT-424 Dropship -- will also make its debut. The dropship is said to be capable of transporting one pilot, six soldiers, one ground vehicle, and a partridge in a pear tree. More information on the expansion can be found over at the Three Speech blog, who has snagged the final press release from Sony. They were also so excited, apparently, that they forgot how to speak English properly: "WARHAWK EXPANSION PACK SOON COME!"

I thought Jim was spot on with his review of the original Dragon's Dogma. It had grand ideas, but in many areas, it failed to execute them, and was marred by some fairly glaring design choices.
