Secondly since you're going to be talking about digital distribution. Do you think downloads will prevent games (or really any media that's downloadable.)from becoming collector's items. You know that game that's so good or so rare that it sells for close to or even above it's original retail price, Like FF VII or FF VIII.
I know you can download FF VII and FF VIII for $10 on the PSN now so I have to think that collecting hard copies of games is proverbially "going the way of the dodo".

Have you ever really liked a game but just couldnt continue to play it? Not because you dont have the time but you just arent immersed enough in it.
Would you like to see a Cave Story movie made by Miyazaki? The thought ocurred to me today and I think it would be amazing.
How do you see Digital Distrobution affecting non-first world nations? I live in the caribbean and for me, Xbox Live means that I can now purchase games without paying exorbitant (nearly double) prices or having to miss out on games that otherwise would not be carried here by mainstream retailers. That is, short of piracy. Thanks to Xbox Live, I retroactivley enjoyed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, a game that was impossible to come by here for whatever reason on it's first release. I can now count it among my favorite games of all time, not at all possible without Digital Distrobution.
What do you think about digital distribution of retro games? One issue is the concept of playing the game in its original environment (type of controller, resolution, hardware limitations (which Megaman 9 added as a optional feature), etc.) Can the convenience of a instantly-available digital version ever outweigh the joy of finding a classic cartridge at a garage sale?

I think that on the flip side of the coin, you can discuss what you DON'T want digital distribution to end up like. There are a lot of ways it could go horribly wrong.

What modern games do you think would be cool to see on retro consoles (given most of the mechanics can be transferred with them)? Would they become crappy, since the game relied so much on graphics and shine? Or would they become better--maybe the simplification of the game makes it easier to play or nicer on the eyes. Keep in mind, everything else down to the story and/or levels would be the same.
